Below is the information you have all been (or should have been!) anxiously awaiting on our very popular ANDY model.

ANDY is a 3/4 scale archtop electric guitar perfect for either travel or for serious youth guitarists. Not a toy, the guitar's 23" fingerboard scale features a solid carved spruce top and a solid carved maple back, with laminated maple sides. The guitar incorporates the same design features of its big brothers with an ebony fingerboard, fingerrest, tailpiece and bridge.

A mini-humbucking pickup with volume and tone control is built into the top. ANDY comes in a traditional Antiqueburst finish, or with a Natural Top and Espresso back, sides and neck. With a gigbag, the retail is, like the guitar, a very small $2,475.00. :-) Check with your favorite dealer today!

SOPHISTICATED LADY

Oops, one more important Summer NAMM photo :)

We were especially delighted to see guitarist & dear friend (to the entire music industry!) Susan Carson stop by our booth at NAMM... Our little ANDY model caught her eye and, well, she ordered one right then and there! (her late great hubby Bill Carson would be proud :-) He would have liked it, too, we think!)

A GREAT CATCH IN CAPE CORAL

 Rick Shafer of newly opened Rick's Music in Cape Coral, Florida welcomed Howard and FL guitarist/BG friend Ed Preman to their store for a Benedetto primer for employees and customers this past week. 

Rick's has two BRAVO models (HB & AB), a BAMBINO (AB) and a beautiful BAMBINO DELUXE (NT) available for Sun Coast fans.  This is a unique boutique store carrying ultra high-end home audio, pro-sound, electronics, and Benedetto guitars!

BACK TO BASSICS

Savannah Bassist Mike Hall was a happy camper pictured with Bob and his custom Benedetto 5-String bass...with gorgeous quilted maple top :-)

BILL NEALE - OUR OWN BENNY PRO(TAGONIST!)

Why are all these guys smiling?? Some guitars just seem to have the "IT" Factor...our BENNY PRO in a 50s Burst (which debuted at Summer NAMM in Nashville, left, with Dale Rabiner of DHR Music, Robert Gonzales, BG's Finisher and Phil Bass, BG's Buffer) is one such instrument it seems from the response! 

At right is happy new owner Bill Neale of NJ, who purchased the guitar from DHR Music. He has bought several Benedettos over the years (shown here with his Bambino as well). Interestingly, Bill purchased the first BENNY model made in 1998...now, in 2008, he purchased the first BENNY PRO model...now that's a fan! :-)

Oh, and here's some of what Bill had to say: "I love the versatility of this guitar. From a warm jazz tone to an authentic country-rock sound by just splitting the coil!"

MINER'S BENEDETTO PLAYERS CONCERT 8-16!

Well, it's official! The 2008 Miner Benedetto Jazz Guitar and Cabernet concert is set for Saturday, August 16th!

Contact Miner Wines for tickets for the concert and info about the wine - this is the 2005 Miner Benedetto "40th Anniversary" wine...how cool is that?
