TWO'S COMPANY
A great photo and note from our dear friend Jack Harris (aka "Dr. Jack"- everyone has a nickname here at BG):
"My guitar teacher Bill Lancton (a great guy!) is a legend here in Indy - now 35 years a pro here (from NY). He joins Wes Montgomery (Indy native) as the only 2 guitarists in the Indianapolis Jazz Hall of Fame. While he's not a BGer (yet), he loves playing mine! Here we are jammin' recently; he's playing my custom Manhattan and I'm playing the 1998 "Kenny Burrell" prototype."
Thanks for sharing, Dr. J! :-)

SOPHISTICATED LADY
Savannah native Sally Krissman took a shine to our new Tenor guitar. A jazz enthusiast herself, Sally's father, Isadore Karpf, was one of the founders of the Coastal Jazz Association (producers of the renowned Savannah Jazz Festival).
...oh, and at a delicate 14 1/2" wide, The Tenor is small enough to be the perfect Christmas gift for the guitar-lovin' lady in your life!)
Fa la la la la... :-)

SOUTHERN HOSPITALITY
Since the Savannah Economic Development Authority (SEDA) is partly responsible for BG locating here, it's only fitting that they bring by new potential business owners for some good old Southern Hospitality. (Left) Touring the shop today with Howard is Julian Mills of HySky Technologies (center). In the backround is Julian Pafford from Georgia Power; far right is Amanda Taylor, SEDA's Project Manager.

FRI-DAYS OF WINE AND ROSES
TGIF! BG enjoyed some Johnny Mercer flavored Gypsy jazz today with Howard on Benedetto Gypsy Guitar and Ricardo Ochoa on Benedetto Violin...
Ricardo is the Operations Manager for the world-renowned Savannah Music Festival (and also a fine violinist).
If this is getting your Django-lovin' pulse beating faster, contact Howard at hpaul@benedettoguitars.com - this unique Gypsy guitar is a hot honey blonde...perfect to make your music, well, sizzle. :-)

SAVANNAH: TOO MARVELOUS FOR WORDS
Howard Paul and Rick Winger (SEDA President/CEO) pose in front of a new Bambino Custom 40th Anniversary Guitar presented to the Savannah Economic Development Authority November 11th, 2009. SEDA, along with The Creative Coast Initiative (TCCI) is the agency responsible for attracting new businesses to the Savannah area.
SEDA was instrumental(!)in helping Bob and Howard decide to move Benedetto to Savannah; our receipt of the 2009 Georgia European Union Export Product Award; coverage in Delta Sky Magazine; and recurring ads featuring Benedetto Guitars in Inc. Magazine. The Bambino 40th hangs in the main entry to SEDA's fourth floor offices, reminding visiting businesses and government agencies that SEDA attracts world-class companies to Savannah (even us little ones). :-)
p.s. we still have a few more 40th Anniversary Bambinos (in white, as below). Isn't that just, well, Peachy!
